Who are we?

Innovative Merchandising Services (IMS) is a multifaceted merchandising company specializing in on-site event merchandise development and sales.  Under our original name, Promotion Products, our first major contract was the inaugural Superbowl of Motocross (now Supercross) held at the Los Angeles Coliseum in 1972.  IMS has expanded throughout the years to become the official supplier for many sporting and live entertainment events throughout the US, including the Rose Bowl Game, three BCS National Championship games, US Open of Surfing, Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, and Monster Energy Supercross.

IMS was established with the sole purpose of exceeding all previous expectations and standards in the field of event merchandising.  Our commitment to upholding strong standards for the highest level of representation has allowed IMS to successfully set the benchmark in event merchandising for all bowl games and large venues.

It all began with a Dream: to produce the highest quality garments for the event merchandising business.  Founder and President Ron Baumgartner began his life’s quest racing for Kawasaki’s Team Green at a very young age and later combined his passions for racing and design into the leading event merchandising business, Innovative Merchandising Services, Inc. (IMS).

Founded over 25 years ago in a backyard in Norco, California, in a 1,500 square foot building, along with lots of sweat, a passion for excellence, and a will to Believe, IMS has grown to become a nationally recognized leader in the event merchandising business.

IMS/Shirtwerx has successfully merchandised 22 consecutive Rose Bowl Games®, 4 National College Football Championships, The Dodgers® 50th Anniversary Game (the largest attended baseball game in history), and many other prestigious events.  Achieve is not a word spoken softly at IMS.
